Who we are: A World Aware, SA (AWA SA) is a registered non profit organisation in South Africa.
What we do: A World Aware, SA exists to train the world’s poor to provide for themselves, and others. Click here to see Project Calendar.
How we operate: (i) We are about creating sustainable solutions to areas of critical need. (ii) Our volunteer source is “man in the street” that wants to make a difference, but doesn’t know what to do. (iii) Our channels to the poor are local organisations that have identified a need and are already doing something about it, but need assistance to be more effective.
(iv) We encourage those who have been helped, to help others.

We measure our success when we have passed a skill on to someone, and then teach them how to pass it on to someone else.
