I am the leader of the permanant AWA team in South African, "The Blesbok", which is a welcoming team. Because of this, I feel that it is important for me not only to meet the teams coming, but also to see where and how they live. This will help me to better understand what their needs are when teams come to South Africa. I am young, but I am ready to help in any way that I can. The more I learn, the better help I can be to the SAM teams.

I am coming to America as a member from AWA/SA to talk to people about how my life is as a Christian teenager living in South Africa. I pray to be a recruiting agent for future generations of AWA.

I feel strongly about coming to America because I have felt a very sudden change inside me that I feel that I need to be out doing something more. The irony in me going to America on missionary work is that my Grand-parents came to South Africa many years ago to be missionaries here.

South Africa needs teams coming because our needs as a country, people, and as individuals are very high. We need all the Christian help we can get. My trip will give me opportunity to explain why it is important to recruit future members for AWA now. Maybe my perspective will create the interest needed and generate involvement on the field in South Africa.

As I am still a student, I do find it hard to get the funding that I need to make my trip, so please pray for me to be able to find the money and time to get to America. May The Lord’s will be done!!!! My needs are approximately $3000.00, or R24,000.00.
